J&L Rochester Insulation Company, rochesterinsulationcompany.com, estimates@rochesterinsulationcompany.com
Who this policy covers
J&L Rochester Insulation Company is an insulation contractor in Rochester, MN. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.
It applies to every page on our site, from the home page to our service and city pages, and to information you give us when you ask for an estimate. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, which have their own policies.
Information you give us
When you fill out our estimate form, we ask for things like your name, phone number, email address, the address of the house and a short note about the job. We need that to call you back, set up a visit and know whether we're looking at an attic, a crawl space, walls or something else.
Our contact form is hosted by an outside form service, so what you type is sent through that service to us. If you call us or send an email, we keep the details you share so we can follow up on your job.
Please don't send payment card numbers or other sensitive financial details through the form or by email.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours can collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, the pages you look at, how long you stay and the site that sent you here. This comes from analytics tools and server logs, and it tells us which pages people find useful.
We and those tools may also use cookies, which are small files your browser stores so a site can recognize a return visit or count traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work, though some features may not.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to answer your questions, schedule free on-site estimates, do the work you hire us for and keep a record of the job in case you call us about it later.
We use analytics information to understand how people use the site and to fix pages that aren't working. We don't use your information to make automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with other companies so they can market to you.
We share it only when we need to. That includes the services that run our website, form and analytics, people who help us run the business, such as an accountant, and anyone we're required to tell by law or a valid legal request.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and job records for as long as we need them to serve you, answer questions about past work and meet our tax, legal and business record-keeping duties.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. Analytics data is usually kept in summary form that doesn't point to any one person.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we have to keep a record for legal or business reasons, and if so we'll tell you why.
Some states give residents more privacy rights, and we'll honor the ones that apply to you. To make a request, contact us and tell us what you'd like done. We may ask a question or two to confirm it's really you before we act.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us, and we limit who can see it to the people who need it to handle your job.
No website or email system is completely secure, so we can't promise that information sent over the internet will never be seen by someone it wasn't meant for.
Children's privacy
Our website is for homeowners and property owners, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, tools or the law change. The current version will always be on this page, so check back if you want to see what's changed.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question about your information or think we've handled it the wrong way, call us at (507) 512-1787 or use our contact page, and we'll look into it and get back to you.
You can read more about who we are on our about page.
